For this challenge I have 2 lizards, a Lemur and a Lion cub having lunch.. 🙂

At the Knoxville Zoo

Last Thursday I too a day and visited the Zoo, while not as good as the Columbus zoo for animals the Knoxville zoo has a superb landscaping crew and the flowers and grasses are, to me more exciting than the animals. Don’t get me wrong its an excellent zoo, but the admission fee of $19.95 and $5.00 for parking for each adult its a bit steep, luckily I have a membership to the Columbus zoo and got in free. Tomorrow I’ll be doing Flower Friday from the zoo.. 🙂

I used both my Nikon D50 w/ the Sigma 175-500mm and my Nikon D7000 w/ the Sigma 18-200mm. For some reason the D50 just works better with the long lens.

Nothing better than a day at the zoo, even with the crowds of people and kids wakling in front of you while trying to get a pic. Oh well, it is a zoo after all.. 😉
