There is nothing worse than getting sick on the road, I have a 100deg temp and a fever with muscle aches and a bad cough…. it SUCKS!!! Luckily its thera flu to the rescue and after I pre posted this yesterday its back to bed. Hope everyone is staying snow free, maybe spring is almost here.. 🙂

Last Wednesday night while trying to enjoy my off time it decided to have a nice 6 inch snow storm in Knoxville Tennessee. I played it safe and camped out at Wal-Mart.. 🙂

Todays post and the next few are brought to you by the Zoo in Columbus Ohio, my second home away from home. Last month they opened a new section of the zoo called “The Heart of Africa” and its awesome! Besides the Lions getting new diggs, they have brought in Giraffes, wilderbeasts, Gazelles, and Zebras as well as some new birds. All this on 43 acres of land and a HUGE panoramic run for the animals to play in. The Gazelles can actually run at full speed in the area dodging the wilderbeasts and giraffes, its really cool. More pics to come from my days off at the zoo..:-)

Back in my element. Last week during my off time I made a run down to the river for a day of woods and water pics. There is something about running water that just makes my day and the Tellico River has lots of running water and the gorge has plenty of mountain runoff to make some great shots.
