S.A.R. aka. Search and Rescue

How do you rescue downed pilots and severly wounded? Send in the Helos.

First is the Kaman HH-43B Husky this little bird saved more pilots than any other helo in Vietnam

Next is the Sikorsky HH-3E Jolly Green Giant, it was the most popular SAR helo used in Vietnam.

And last is probably the most recognizable helo, the Bell UH-1P Iroquois, used by all branches of service from 1965 to 1987. Then the Blackhawk showed up and completely changed the game. I flew on and rappeled out of these during my time in the Army.
