The Last LUSAC 11

Designed in April 1918 as a combination fighter/bomber and observation plane and the first fighter built in the U.S. this one went to France for a short time just as the war ended and never saw combat. While the government contracted a few thousand to be built by Packard for the Army, when the war ended they cancelled the contract and only a handful were made.
