Sunday Stills: Made in the 1940s

For this weeks challenge I am going with some classic WW2 Planes and one ship that would not die… the U.S.S. Laffey this destroyer survived 4 Kamikaze attacks and 2 500lb bombs and still made it back to port for repairs on its own power.

  1. The bent wing fighter is the F4U Corsair, the blue on blue fighter is the Hellcat I think. The bomber with the nose art is a B-25 Mitchell and the big green one is the C-47 Dakota which delivered supplies as well as paratroopers.
