Into the realm of green tea we go with a Justin Lloyd blend called Smooth Genmaica jade Green tea. My first impression was that it was a weak tea but then it is a light green tea so I can’t say its all that bad. I did’nt add anything to the tea to get a pure taste and to be honest it was a bit bland but then not drinking alot of green tea I had no idea what to look for in the flavor, but all in all I think I’ll stick to black teas..:-)

Just a note on this company. Justin Lloyd was supposedly a woman working for this tea purveyors in the 1700’s exploring the world in the pursuit of the finest teas. I can’t find anything to support this story and I think they made the whole thing up to sell teas, but then I could be wrong..;-)

Teatime Tuesday

Well, I guess this day is becoming more of a whats new post as well as a tea review day. Today finds me at my folks place in Tennessee enjoying some time off and enjoying every minute of it. This morning I’m getting ready for what I call an Ed day, just me and my camera off on a mini road trip taking pics. Its 0430 hrs and I may take off and wait for a sunrise on the mountain and follow it up with looking for pics for next weeks Sunday Stills challenge.
On to this weeks tea, I’m sticking with the Justin Lloyd teas and this week we have their Assam Adventure blend. While I really like Assam tea and this was a good cup of the it is a little overhyped, the package makes you think you are going on some mystical trip to india and its more like a trip california( I have no idea what I meant by that, its 0440 now and I really need a cup of tea to wake up). Anyway its not bad and I promised a website for Juatin Lloyd but all I could find were places that carry the tea, so if you are looking for some just google Justin Lloyd and there are alot of stores that carry it. Hava great day…Ed :-)
