Sky Flowers

I was kinda bummed out over missing the fireworks on the 4th of July but as my luck would have it on the 7th of July I was driving through Ohio when I saw some fireworks on the horizon and they just kept going off. I stopped on an off ramp and grabbed the camera and the tripod and for the next 15 minutes I had a field day! It took a few shots to get the focus and settings right but once I did the pics were pretty good…
Settings for the fireworks: Nikon D80 with a Sigma 18-200mm lens, shutter mode, ISO 200, Shutter 5 seconds, F22 and tripod mounted of course with a remote shutter release..
