Macro Monday: Day of the Dragonfly
One of my favorite bugs to photograph are Dragonflies even if the are a pain in the butt to shoot. This just makes me want my tube extention kit for my macro lens..:-)
The first one I got on the 4th of July this year and the rest are from last summer in Illinois.

I love dragonflies, too. They are just so neat in structure and looks. You did a great job on these shots.

Gotta love the dragonflies, they are one of my totem animals and in my tat carry them with me always!

I often wonder if man tries to imitate nature…..dragonflies remind me of helicopters. But we truly can never duplicate the amazing designs in nature.
Wow. Your photos are just amazing.
I took a photo of a dragonfly last weekend. He was resting next to a hot springs tub and he let me get mega close. So cool!
