Lunar Distraction
I was sitting in a parking lot last night playing on my computer when I saw the moon on the western horizon. As I worked on the computer I was constantly distracted by the moon, I don’t really know why, but I had to get out and take a few pics until the compulsion passed. This happens frequently that I get obsessed with certain pics, like flowers and zoos. It gets to the point that I can’t think about anything else till I stop and shoot some pics. I guess it is a form of OCD, but a good one. Does anyone else have this? Well I can live with it and it helps advance my skills with my cameras.
Have a great day, I’m off to Wisconsin.

Excellent!!! I take my camera just about everywhere and find myself focusing on things as well. It’s not a bad kind of OCD to have…

That is a fabulous shot Ed. I too become obsessed with shooting things
If I get an idea on something to shoot it will drive me crazy until I do. I’ve been known to leave work early to go take photos. Did I say that outloud?

Hi hun,
STUNNING! It looks like you could just reach out and touch it! You can always tell a genius at work..They make a very difficult thing (like your pic) look incredibly easy to do!! I admire your talent
I tend to get obsessed with writing and making up cooking recipes.. I can’t get rid of the feeling until its scribbled down/or typed up
Have a great weekend.Love, Light & Blessings,
Sue

I looked at that last night and thought about setting up and getting a picture. Funny how we can all look up at the same thing from different places.

I do, too, Ed. I think Photography OCD is a wonderful ‘vice’ to have. It causes us to stop and really take notice of and appreciate the world around us…and beyond.
Your Lunar photo is just stunning.

I had that happen the other night too, but mine was fuller and bright during the day and I did take a few. I don’t believe mine is as crisp, well I know its not cause I didn’t have it on my tripod like I know I should, anyway…. I looked up through my finally budding out apple tree and there it was in all its half phase glory until I took more notice it wouldn’t leave me alone.
Wonderful blog and I figured out that this is where everyone is referring to ‘Sunday Stills’??
