A Furry Encounter

This was going through my mind as I stalked this little fella yesterday while waiting to get loaded. At first I thought it was a cat but quickly realized it was something different.. A Woodchuck!! aka. Groundhog. He seemed content looking for goodies until he realized I was there and quickly scampered, well loped off to the relative safety of a drain pipe I waited a bit to see if he would come back out but alas he was gone, till I got back to my truck, and the little bugger came back out again, oh well, maybe next time…:-)

    You must be in the mid west this week. I’ve never seen a wood chuck or prarie dog in the wild. You got great pics anyway even though he wasn’t as enthralled with you. lol

    We have quite a few of those around here. They usually waddle away if you get too close. Great shots!
